The following trail rides are scheduled for Tuesday, December 4: Note Time Change for West Rim Lite
(1) West Rim Trail: Rated 4+. Meet 9:00 am, Washington Dam Staging area. This trail has several difficult obstacles with some bypasses. In particular, is the “Squeeze”, a narrow slot which is too narrow for larger tires. However, the bypass is a high step which may require some rigs to take a strap. Lead = Bill Shepherd. Remember Whip Flag is required on Sand Mountain Trails.
(2) West Rim Lite Trail: Rated 3. Meet 9:15 am, Washington Dam Staging area. This trail is an easier version of West Rim Trail. Stock vehicles can accomplish this run, and will enjoy watching some of the rigs, on West Rim Trail, struggle as they tackle “Menlo’s Challenge”. Lead = Bud Sanders.
Remember: CB Radio, Air-Up and Air-Down equipment, Whip Flag, Camp Chair, Lunch, Layered Clothing.
