Join the Desert Roads and Trails Society (DRATS) and Dixie 4 Wheel Drive for National Public Lands Day on Saturday, September 28th as we come together to give back to our public lands!
This year, we’re teaming up with the Bureau of Land Management, St. George Field Office to clean up a BLM site off Navajo Drive, southwest of Bloomington. This area has accumulated a lot of trash, and we need your help to restore it to its natural beauty.
🗓 Date: Saturday, September 28th
⏰ Time: Meet at 9:00 AM, finish by noon
📍 Location: 1798 Navajo Dr, St. George, UT 84790 Parking area at the mountain biking trailhead where Navajo Drive enters the desert (southwest of Bloomington)
What to Bring:
- Drinking water
- Gloves
- Trash pick-up tools, rakes, and shovels
- A 5-gallon bucket (if available)
- Sturdy, closed-toe shoes
- Weather-appropriate clothing
DRATS will provide trash bags and a 30-cubic-yard dumpster for the cleanup. After we finish, you’ll still have plenty of time to hit the trails and enjoy the rest of your day!
Help us keep our public lands clean and accessible for everyone. Whether you’re an off-road enthusiast, hiker, or just someone who loves nature, this is a great opportunity to make a difference.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Desert RATS (Desert Roads and Trails Society) is a 501C-3 non-profit organization, committed to keeping our public lands public and accessible to visitors of all abilities.
